Join Our Pediatric Hospital Medicine Team
We are seeking a talented Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Our hospital medicine division is comprised of 11 pediatric hospital medicine physicians who provide coverage for inpatient pediatric services at Covenant Children's Hospital, University Medical Center Childrens Hospital, and Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary admitting team for many of our pediatric subspecialists
- Participate in co-management with surgical specialists at each of our hospital sites
- Provide sedation service at Covenant Childrens for children undergoing procedures or sedated imaging
- Work 7 on 7 off with 24-hour evening call from home with flexibility
- Build in Administrative time
- Work closely with medical school and pediatric residency programs providing oversight on inpatient rotations, education in hospital medicine, and mentorship
- Participate in additional shift options at the High-Risk Newborn Clinic
