The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally appropriate patient care in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop effective care plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
