The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex equipment and machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues related to electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components.
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Clean, lubricate, and calibrate parts and components of equipment and machinery.
- Disassemble equipment and machinery components to replace or repair worn or damaged parts.
- Test repaired equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation, accuracy, and precision.
- Install upgraded or replaced components and run test cycles to verify proper functioning.
- Maintain equipment and machinery maintenance logs and repair records.
- Communicate equipment and machinery status, projected downtime, and operation of repaired equipment to stakeholders.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and place orders as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in equipment and machinery technology, control systems, and repair techniques.
- Comply with safety procedures and protocols for equipment and machinery repairs and maintenance.
- Work closely with engineering and assemblers to evaluate incoming repairs and identify necessary test equipment and parts.
- Perform soldering work and complex reworking of parts.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in electromechanical technology, mechatronics, robotics, or a similar field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with precision mechanical assembly.
- Advanced experience with assembling mechanical components using torque wrenches.
