About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and administering medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to assess their communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Administer and interpret assessment tools to evaluate patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs
Requirements
  • Graduate of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board training program
  • California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • California Children's Services (CCS) paneled upon hire
  • Experience in acute care, outpatient, adult or pediatrics
