Job Summary

As a MRI and CT Technologist II at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a focus on MRI and CT scanning procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI and CT exams according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and immobilization as needed.
  • Operate MRI and CT scanners, ensuring accurate and efficient image capture.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • American Registry of Radiologist Technology registered (or equivalent), or registry eligible.
  • Advanced registry in MRI required within 18 months of orientation.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
  • IV certification required before or during new hire orientation.
