We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing precision maneuvering thrusters for use on submarine platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems capable of surviving harsh environmental conditions
  • Utilize CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings for technical data packages
  • Perform structural and thermal analyses to meet submarine environmental requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of job-related experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of experience
  • Previous experience with CAD tools, such as SolidWorks and Creo
