Cardiovascular Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular team at Good Samaritan Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac lab.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care to designated patients under the direction of the Director and/or designee.
- Function as a team leader and facilitator, providing effective communication with other health team members.
- Closely monitor patients for complications, administer medications, and document procedures.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families, and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires.
- Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
- At least one year of nursing experience in the critical care setting (ICU, ED, Trauma)
- Prefer three years critical care experience and prior experience in procedural areas (Cath/IR/EP/Neuro)
