Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and hospitality-oriented Transportation Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring our residents have safe and enjoyable travel experiences for various outings, including grocery shopping and community events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicles such as vans or buses according to a predetermined schedule to meet the transportation needs of residents.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Manage attendance records and coordinate necessary equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Load and unload groceries and other items as required.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance of the vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience as a driver is necessary.
- CDL certification is preferred.
- A valid Florida Driver's License is mandatory.
