About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with physician orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care and documenting all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
  • Assessment and Coordination: Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes in condition to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and provide support to meet their nursing needs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting

Compensation and Location

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
