Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Records Analyst to join our team at The Staff Pad. As a Medical Records Analyst, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and retrieving medical records. You will prepare documents for scanning, scan records into our electronic document management system, and verify patient identification. Additionally, you will index documents to the correct level within the system and batch documents for scanning and indexing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and retrieve medical records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare documents for scanning and scan records into the electronic document management system
  • Verify patient identification and index documents to the correct level within the system
  • Batch documents for scanning and indexing
  • Provide support for incomplete records process and departmental coverage, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical records formats and content for all visit types, filing systems, and medical office procedures
  • Good computer skills and experience with scanning systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • High school diploma required
