Computed Tomography Specialists perform high-quality CT scans to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. Their key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and images taken.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to discuss findings and ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Certification in CT technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
