Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients. As a member of our pharmacy team, you will assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, while maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Compound and package medications as needed
- Verify patient information and medication orders
- Operate pharmacy automation technology systems and workflow management
- Perform initial trouble shooting for automated pharmacy technology and associated software
- Work under time constraints to meet patient needs
- High School Diploma or equivalence exam
- Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work
- Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required
