Service Center Technician

Aaron's is seeking a skilled Service Center Technician to fill a key role in our team. As a Service Center Technician, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnoses and repairs of consumer electronics and appliances in our Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate diagnoses and repairs of consumer electronics and appliances
  • Complete all necessary service orders and paperwork associated with the repair
  • Calculate estimates on all non-warranty repairs
  • Research product and part information to determine warranty status
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of most common consumer electronics and/or appliances
  • Experience in troubleshooting to modular level
  • Ability to read schematics and research part and product information
  • Basic PC skills with the ability to navigate service software and vendor websites
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of technical experience
  • Type I EPA Certification for appliance technicians
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently lift up to 40 lbs. independently and greater than 40 lbs. with assistance
  • Frequently bend, stoop, climb, push, and pull
  • Occasionally sit and walk
