Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Tester to contribute to our manual testing efforts for our applications and provide QA expertise to ensure our products maintain high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software testers, offering guidance and technical support.
- Develop and implement detailed test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on testing strategies and priorities.
- Conduct manual testing of software applications, including regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects clearly, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Partner with product managers, developers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in testing methodologies and processes.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Software Tester, with a focus on manual testing.
- Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience leading and mentoring a team of testers.
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail, defect management systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in testing web applications and modern test development concepts.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may shift.
- Awareness of test automation principles, although this role emphasizes manual testing. Knowledge of automation tools is a plus.
- Understanding of Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) concepts and architectures is beneficial.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Golang, Java, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with manufacturing or manufacturing software.
