We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the Role:- Deliver high-quality patient care in line with the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
- Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is a 370-bed hospital located in downtown San Antonio, offering a wide range of medical services, including heart and cancer care, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, sleep disorder evaluation, and emergency room care.
