Nurse Practitioner

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients, utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment to make informed decisions.
- Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, promoting a safe and healing environment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our healthcare services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) certification.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
