$31.45 per hour based on experience (This rate applies to 24-hour shifts)
$41.07 per hour based on experience (This rate applies to 12-hour shifts)
We are seeking Emergency Medical Technicians who are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to advanced Emergency Medical Technician protocols.
Employ your Emergency Medical Technician expertise with medical apparatus and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver superior medical assistance.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they are informed and reassured about the care being provided.Assume the role of team leader when necessary, overseeing scene management and unit operations.
Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Emergency Medical Technicians.
Additional Responsibilities:
Engage in community initiatives to uphold the image of Global Medical Response and foster strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Emergency Medical Technician License
State Driver's License
State Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
Medical Examiner's Certification
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Emergency Medical Technician
Driving record compliant with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
