Cremeria Clerk

Job Summary:

The Cremeria Clerk is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in our cremeria products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cremeria products are sliced and available for customers.
• Manage product pricing and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Verify the quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation of products in coolers.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety and sanitation requirements.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Keep cremeria displays clean and visually appealing.
• Properly store cleaning supplies and maintain a well-organized workspace.
• Effectively advertise and promote cremeria products.
• Receive, unload, stock, fill, and rotate merchandise efficiently.
• Verify case, cooler, and refrigerator temperatures to ensure optimal storage conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a meat department or related field.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Must have vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment is typical of an office and retail store, with varying noise levels.
• Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Subject to inside environmental conditions, with occasional work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler.
