Job Title: Veterinarian Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinarian Staff to join our team at the State of Tennessee. As a key member of our Animal Health Program Division, you will be responsible for providing professional veterinary services to ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine veterinary exams and provide medical care to animals
  • Develop and implement animal health programs to prevent and control diseases
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with animal health regulations
  • Provide education and training to staff on animal health and welfare
  • Conduct investigations and inspections to identify and address animal health issues
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
  • At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of animal health regulations and laws
