Job Summary

Rose Paving LLC is seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team in the Charlotte, NC/Lancaster, SC region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with Foremen to receive instructions and report any safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Operate single and multi-rear axle trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver's log books.
  • Load and unload equipment/materials safely and securely.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Understand and operate air brakes systems if equipped.
  • Assist with shop tasks and labor work when not driving.
Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License for the State of North Carolina.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous commercial driving experience.
  • DOT certification.
  • Pass a drug test and background screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Good eyesight.
  • Able to drive up to 8/10 hours daily.
