Pediatric Critical Care Division Chief

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an experienced clinician in Critical Care at the Associate Professor or Professor Level to serve as Division Chief for Pediatric Critical Care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee clinical service, patient care, research and scholarship, education and mentorship.
- Lead the growth and development of faculty within the division.
- Program oversight responsibility for the Pediatric Critical Care Division, including pediatric/neonatal ECMO and the Pediatric Sedation Services.
- Participate in ongoing research in the unit.
- Able to obtain medical licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
- BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care.
- Ten years clinical experience.
- Experience with pediatric and neonatal ECMO.
- Experience with professional education, teaching, and research.
- Experience with care of the pediatric cardiothoracic surgery and trauma patient.
- Evidence of leadership roles in academic medicine.
- Experience mentoring of junior faculty.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
