This is a part-time day position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients, gathering pertinent information from various sources, and develop an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals.
  • Provide pediatric therapy targeting a variety of disorders, including articulation, expressive/receptive language, AAC, autism, and feeding.
  • Provide adult acute care dysphagia therapy.
  • Provide direct therapy to patients on a daily basis and instruct patients and family members in therapeutic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and concise records of treatment provided and patient progress.
  • Maintain a set level of productivity without jeopardizing quality, delivering efficient and effective care to patients meeting and exceeding department standards.
  • Maintain departmental policies and procedures regarding safety, infection control, time off requests, and timecard recording, including necessary education and yearly compliance requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor of rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree (Master's) in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Licensed Speech Pathologist in the State of Ohio.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • BLS and CPR certification as required by the hospital.
