Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in all aspects of medication dispensing, including preparing prescriptions and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Order and maintain pharmaceutical supplies, medical equipment, and other necessary materials.
- Prepare invoices and bills, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve operational efficiency and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT, ExCPT) certification required.
- Maintain current registration with the NM Board of Pharmacy.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical medical supplies and medical equipment preferred.
- Basic math skills and competent keyboarding skills required.
- At least six months of experience as a Tech I or equivalent job experience at a hospital or pharmacy required.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate exposure to video display terminals. You will be required to stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, and lift moderate loads (up to 30 lbs.).
