About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Advanced Recovery Systems. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care and education to patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions
  • Build trust and rapport with patients and their families
  • Work effectively with the facility leadership team to resolve pending issues, ensure compliance with infection control protocols, and manage medication storage and inventory
  • Coordinate and plan the admission workflow, track lab orders and outside consults, and monitor medical transfers
  • Perform administrative functions, such as scanning documents and assisting with the work schedule
  • Participate in admission and discharge audits to ensure compliance with nursing procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per state law
  • Licensed to practice in the State of practice
  • Higher education preferred
  • Two years of experience as a LPN Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
  • Behavioral health setting ideal
