About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Acute Care Professional to join our 6B Medical Unit at Christiana Care Health System. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients with acute medical conditions, including pneumonia, syncope, diabetes management, COPD, and altered mental status
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • RN License in Delaware or Compact State
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or committed to acquiring BSN within 3 years of hire date
  • At least one year of med/surg experience as an RN is required
  • BLS certification
