Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at KLA. As a key member of our Global Products Group, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced mechanical systems for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ultra-clean vacuum systems, including analysis, component selection, hardware and software integration, and operation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
  • Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
  • Play a key role in coordinating design aspects between multiple internal groups and key vendors.
  • Take responsibility for the system development process, from requirements specification to analysis, prototyping, testing, debugging, and writing assembly procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in 3D solid modeling.
  • Proficiency with vacuum systems controls.
  • Background in the design of mechanisms.
  • Basic understanding of optical subsystems.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding fabrication, and castings.
