- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders as needed.
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and report on daily activities, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position (5+ years).
- Proven experience in areas such as repair, electrical controls, machine maintenance, mechanical maintenance, cooling, chillers, equipment, air conditioning, carpentry, piping, food processing, hydraulic, refrigeration, HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and motors.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
- Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field (BSc/BA or higher).
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFM) or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) certification.
