Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Ossining, NY. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in preparing specimens for laboratory testing and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques and equipment
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens according to established procedures
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accurate labeling
• Package specimens for transport and maintain accurate records
• Provide excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment (as required)
• Minimum 6 months' experience in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Compensation Range:

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.00/Hr. - USD $25.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
