Role Summary
We are in search of a proactive and customer-focused Maintenance Specialist to become an integral part of our onsite team. This role is essential in ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards, reflecting our dedication to resident satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Address resident service requests promptly through our online ticketing system while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Engage in all aspects of property maintenance, including preparing units for new residents, conducting property inspections, landscaping, and performing repairs.
- Support the upkeep of both the interior and exterior of the property.
- Assist the Service Manager in identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and unresolved maintenance issues.
- Contribute to efforts aimed at preventing and addressing damage from severe weather conditions.
- Utilize maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, including ADA and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a multi-unit residential setting.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire safety protocols.
- Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and on-call duties as necessary.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA certification Type I or II and other relevant licenses as mandated by local or state regulations.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and use of ladders to perform essential tasks.
- Regularly climbing stairs to access upper-level apartments.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
