Business Intelligence Specialist

Sampson Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare institution seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join its Management Information System and Informatics team.

Description:

The successful candidate will serve as the central contact for various hospital applications, including Meditech, Redoc, Mach 7, McKesson, and eMDs. Responsibilities will include implementation, training, and upgrades of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation, maintenance, and support of hospital information systems.
• Creation and management of user requested reports.
• Project management of system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Collaboration with end-users, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and status updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent discipline desired but not required.
• At least one year of experience in the healthcare industry or related field.
• Firm knowledge of information systems, system analytics, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions:

A minimum 40-hour work week with rotating call shifts, possible flex schedules, and shift work during implementation periods.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
