Job Summary

US Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the maturation of a hardware integration program and the evolution of associated production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Work Instructions Development: Create detailed work instructions for assembly and rework operations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Process Development: Assist in the development of production processes, design workstations and cells, and generate work instructions to scale operations based on program needs.
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Support: Advise design engineers on DFM principles and other production-related matters to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Technical Writing: Develop technical documentation, including work instructions, to support production operations.
  • 3D CAD Program Proficiency: Utilize 3D CAD programs (PTC Creo preferred) to create production drawings from models and ensure compliance with ASME Y14-series standards.
  • ERP Platform Experience: Leverage ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA preferred) to generate production routings and optimize production processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience as an engineer in general assembly manufacturing or industrial machine/fabrication shop, with experience in AS9100 aerospace manufacturing a plus.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills (linear algebra, trigonometry), and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent.
