About the Role

Kaweah Health is a leading community healthcare organization in central California, providing comprehensive health services to the greater Visalia area.

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working closely with patients who have been injured or physically affected by illness to recover or improve function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient conditions and devise customized rehabilitation and treatment plans
  • Administer standard formal evaluations and complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Plan individual treatment programs following physician's orders and perform therapy treatment procedures as indicated
  • Provide instruction to team members regarding patients' functional needs and secure equipment for patients' use
  • Meet/exceed productivity requirements and participate in continuing education to remain current in new treatment procedures
Requirements
  • CA Occupational Therapist license
  • BLS certification
  • One year of infant, pediatric, and adolescent experience (for assigned units)
  • Valid California Drivers License, auto insurance, and willingness to operate personal car (for Home Health assignments)
