Position Overview:
New West Physicians, part of the OptumCare network, is currently looking for a PGY3 Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Resident, or a fellow, to participate in our Primary Care Pathway Program.

This temporary position is designed for third-year residents who are considering a full-time opportunity with our Colorado Springs team after completing their residency.

Program Highlights:
OptumCare will provide education and training for the Physician in next-generation population health models within a premier patient and provider environment.

The tailored program will be conducted at New West facilities and/or through virtual platforms, offering extensive exposure to primary care in a collaborative practice setting, requiring only a few hours of commitment each month.

Compensation:
The Physician Resident will receive a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications:
Required:
- M.D. or D.O.
- Must be transitioning into the third year of residency or currently in their third year or completing a fellowship.

Preferred:
- Ideal candidates will be local physician residents in Colorado.

Compensation for Colorado Residents:
The salary range for residents in Colorado is between $40,000 and $55,000, determined by various factors including education, experience, and certifications.

In addition to salary, UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
