Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:

  • As Director of Nursing (DON), you will oversee and manage all nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
  • You will develop, implement, and evaluate the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, aligning with BRIA's mission and values.
  • You will manage department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing quality care.
  • You will communicate effectively with doctors, residents, and family members regarding resident health, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • You will design and implement new procedures, training nurses on policies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of experience as a DON or an ADON in long-term care.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida in good standing.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment, particularly PointClickCare.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with patients and staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage, ranging from $45 to $51.
