Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Physics courses at our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of our Physics program.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Physics courses, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development
  • Stay current with developments in Physics and incorporate relevant technologies into teaching
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field
  • Teaching experience in Physics, preferably at the community college level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and success
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Physics or a related field
  • Experience with online course delivery and instructional technologies
