Automotive Service Technician

The General Service Technician is responsible for performing basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and vehicle inspections, while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair basic automotive issues, including brakes, alignments, and electrical systems
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing engine oil and filters, and installing tires and batteries
- Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities
- Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems and maintain a clean and organized work area
- A valid driver's license
- Passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry
- Eager to learn and competitive drive to succeed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
The physical demands of this role include extensive standing, walking, pushing, and reaching, as well as repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs. The work environment may involve exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
