Job Summary

Triage is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for an exciting Travel Allied job. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including ultrasound, X-ray, and other imaging modalities
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time
