Job Title: Wellfield Technician

TransTech Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wellfield Technician to join our team. As a Wellfield Technician, you will play a critical role in the operation and maintenance of our landfill gas collection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize landfill gas collection from the gas collection and containment system (GCCS) at landfill gas fueled utilization projects.
  • Collect regular wellfield readings to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain existing GCCS infrastructure and provide operational insight in future GCCS expansion projects.
  • Work closely with landfill owners and operators to mitigate operational issues.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license for state of residence.
  • Experience in landfill operations, permitting, or environmental monitoring a plus; knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations a plus.
  • Familiarity with landfill gas collection systems, flares, and monitoring equipment a plus.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Able to lift heavy objects and traverse steep slopes and other potential terrains indicative of active landfills.
