Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. As an OTA, you will work closely with the occupational therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and overall well-being of our residents.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a SNF environment and be certified as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant). Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to coordinate care and services
- Provide instruction and education to residents and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports of resident progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
- 1+ year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
