About the Role
As an Emergency Response Coordinator, you will play a vital role in World Central Kitchen's mission to provide food aid to those in need. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to think on your feet, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities include:

Activation Management:
  • Respond quickly to disaster situations, mobilizing teams and resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with Activation Managers to ensure seamless operation of relief activities.
  • Direct the implementation of relief activities, ensuring alignment with WCK's North Star values.
  • Build and train local teams to meet our human capacity needs.

Budgeting and Logistics:
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage cost projections and resource allocation.
  • Adhere to WCK's financial policies while adapting to on-the-ground requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to source materials and supplies efficiently.
