Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, labeling and tagging parts for stock, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Dismantling Vehicles: Safely dismantle vehicles within the allotted time frame, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Part Labeling and Tagging: Accurately label and tag parts for stock, ensuring easy identification and organization.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate equipment, including tire balancers and mounting equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Tire and Wheel Inspection: Identify and separate acceptable and defective tires and wheels.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (not required).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds repetitively and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Wear hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety gear as required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Forklift RTF K586 experience, management experience, and knowledge of auto parts.
