Position Overview:
The Production Manager plays a crucial role in guiding and leading a team effectively. This position oversees three production lines and is specifically for the PM shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve manufacturing objectives by setting clear job expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance; coaching and managing staff; and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Support workforce development by selecting, onboarding, and training new employees, while promoting personal growth opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth workflow by monitoring production processes, adjusting variables, observing control points, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Fulfill production schedules by assigning tasks, prioritizing work, tracking progress, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Maintain quality standards by establishing and enforcing organizational protocols.
  • Ensure equipment functionality by coordinating repairs and assessing new technologies.
  • Provide production insights by compiling and analyzing performance data and responding to inquiries.
  • Revise operational systems and procedures by evaluating current practices and implementing necessary changes.
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment by educating staff on equipment use and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive relationship with union representatives by adhering to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Address personnel challenges by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives as required.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a continuous motion manufacturing environment (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a bottling, dairy, or pharmaceutical facility is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
