Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer Reg PRN to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our vascular department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular diagnostic studies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality vascular diagnostic studies according to physician orders
  • Maintain records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients
  • Communicate findings to physicians interpreting the studies
  • Participate in on-call coverage as needed
  • Supervise completion of correlation studies and materials pertinent to the accreditation of the labs
Requirements
  • BCLS certified
  • Registered in Vascular Ultrasound under CCI or ARDMS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of vascular ultrasound and EKG arrhythmia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal training in Vascular Ultrasound from a nationally recognized school
  • Ability to move in excess of 100 pounds, with assistance from other personnel and/or equipment
  • Flexibility with work situations and basic clerical skills
