KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Radiology Physician to join our team at the Philadelphia VAMC. As a Radiology Physician, you will provide comprehensive radiological interpretation of studies for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history for radiographic diagnosis and perform physical examinations as required.
- Assess the severity of illness and contact patients and referring physicians to provide study results.
- Oversee radiographic examinations to ensure correct procedures are conducted.
- Provide consultation, reporting radiological diagnostic examinations, and delivering interpretation of studies.
- Recommend and direct patient care and treatment, consulting with the requesting physician before a procedure.
- Submit Diagnostic Radiology reports through electronic or transcription dictation.
- Minimum of 1 year as a Radiology Physician within the last 2 years.
- Education: Completion of a Radiology residency program.
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology by ABR, AOBR, or ABIM.
- License: Must have an active, unrestricted medical license and radiology certification.
- BLS Certification: Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
