Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach part-time in the Humanities department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Philosophy, including Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Logic, and Introduction to Religion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Philosophy, including lectures, discussions, and assignments
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Assess student learning and progress
  • Participate in program and curriculum review and development
  • Recommend textbooks and instructional materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Subject matter expertise in Philosophy
  • Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including face-to-face and online
