We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on programs with external software development teams and be able to obtain security clearance. They will also have a strong background in software development and be proficient in C and C++ programming languages.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires the ability to work solo and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a related degree in Computer Science or BSEE and be able to utilize Microsoft suite of tools to provide information and updates to upper management.

  • Design, develop, implement, and debug vehicle and module software.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop and maintain software development plans and best practices.
  • Ensure software development follows Cybersecurity guidelines and procedures.
  • Implement and manage CMMI and CMMC compliant and certified procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in software development.
  • Experience working in PLM software such as IBM Jazz and requirements software such as CAMEO.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense on Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework.
  • Cybersecurity best practice coding knowledge and use of HP Fortify scanner.
