Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a supportive educational environment. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about enhancing the communication abilities of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language challenges in students.
- Design and implement tailored treatment strategies based on individual evaluations.
- Deliver direct therapy to students, aiming to enhance their communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to foster student development.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and therapeutic interventions.
- Engage in IEP meetings and assist in formulating educational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
