A 300+ bed hospital in Tacoma is seeking a medical surgical nurse to assist them for 13 weeks. As a medical surgical nurse, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient condition to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Participate in patient and family education
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Washington
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
