Position Overview

The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will oversee the coordination, tracking, and achievement of daily and weekly targets to facilitate the successful operation of the business unit.

This position is crucial in ensuring that production objectives are fulfilled while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a champion for continuous improvement, devising strategies to enhance production workflows while guiding and nurturing a committed team.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to create and manage monthly financial reports for the business unit, aligning with revenue and variable margin goals.
  • Monitor and regulate production expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Build and maintain a team focused on maximizing throughput and engaging with customers as needed.
  • Effectively lead and develop personnel by fostering strong working relationships, assessing performance, and mentoring team members to enhance their skills.
  • Facilitate problem-solving initiatives to tackle production challenges and refine processes.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, streamline operations, and implement innovative practices for task completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OH&S, maintaining robust quality and environmental management systems.
  • Oversee the management of non-conforming products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and daily production timelines.
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, employees, and management at all levels to resolve production-related challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
