Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at Allina Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing assessments for individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injury to provide a baseline status, make treatment/discharge/school and community recommendations, and maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, teams, physicians, referral sources, and payers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Reporting: Completes neuropsychological assessments using state-of-the-art methods with appropriate reliability and validity, and shares results with clients and client support systems as authorized.
- Relationship Building: Maintains positive working relationships with clients, staff, teams, physicians, referral sources, and payers, providing a warm, welcoming, safe environment for clients and others.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program, an internship with experience in neuropsychology, and a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology.
- Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire and ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 180 Days.
- Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology or Pediatric Neuropsychology, or ABPP board eligible with attainment of certification within five years of hire date.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary: Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently.
